Shipping policy

At Home Options, we're committed to delivering your home textiles and bedding products safely and efficiently across South Africa.

1. SHIPPING LOCATIONS We currently ship to addresses within South Africa. If you're located outside South Africa and would like to place an order, please contact us at [your email] to discuss international shipping options.

2. SHIPPING COSTS

  • Orders under R1,000: R60.00 flat rate shipping
  • Orders R1,000 and above: FREE SHIPPING
  • Orders sent to Team leader only: FREE SHIPPING

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on your order total.

3. PROCESSING TIME

  • Orders are processed within 1-5 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays)
  • You will receive an order confirmation email once your order is placed
  • You will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once your order has been dispatched

4. DELIVERY TIME Estimated delivery times from dispatch:

  • Major cities (Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, Durban): 2-4 business days
  • Other urban areas: 3-5 business days
  • Rural areas: 5-7 business days

Please note that these are estimates and actual delivery times may vary depending on the courier and your location. We are not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier or circumstances beyond our control.

5. TRACKING YOUR ORDER Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can use this number to track your package through the courier's website.

6. DELIVERY REQUIREMENTS

  • A signature may be required upon delivery
  • Please ensure someone is available to receive the package at the delivery address
  • If no one is available, the courier will leave a collection notice
  • Packages not collected within the courier's holding period may be returned to us, and you may be responsible for return shipping costs

7. INCORRECT OR INCOMPLETE ADDRESSES Please ensure your shipping address is complete and accurate. We are not responsible for orders delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, you will be responsible for additional shipping costs to resend the order.

8. LOST OR DAMAGED PACKAGES

  • If your package appears damaged upon delivery, please note this with the courier and contact us immediately with photos
  • If your package is lost in transit, please contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date
  • We will work with the courier to locate your package or arrange a replacement

9. ORDER CHANGES If you need to change your shipping address or cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible at [your email]. Once an order has been dispatched, we cannot modify the shipping address.

10. BULK ORDERS For large or bulk orders, please contact us at [your email] for a custom shipping quote. We may be able to offer discounted shipping rates for larger orders.

11. PRODUCT PACKAGING All items are carefully packaged to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Our bedding, towels, curtains, and other textiles are packaged in protective wrapping to keep them clean and fresh during transit.

12. CUSTOMS AND DUTIES For any international orders (if applicable), customers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or fees imposed by their country.
